The Darton women's soccer team is right where it wants to be, in the driver's seat to win another region championship and much of that can be attributed to forward Sashanna Campbell. Campbell scored 5 goals in Darton's 14-0 win over Andrew this weekend. She now has 28 goals in just 14 games.
The sophomore from Manchester, Jamaica also has 13 assists giving her 69 points, the most in the nation among 2 year schools. Campbell has adjusted well since moving to Albany, the only other home she's known since growing up in Jamaica.
"I'm a bit happy to know that I'm from miles and miles away to use my talent to highlight the school and stuff like that and it's a great bunch of girls. I'm so happy I'm here."
