You may have seen a lot of Hot rods on the Albany Mall lawn Saturday.
The Artesian City Club hosted their 30th annual Car and Motorcycle show. This show is the largest car show in Southwest Georgia.
It featured over 100 vehicles from 1928 Model A's to the newest 2011 models. The club hosts the event to give people a look into the evolution of cars as well a trip down memory lane.
"For people in Albany to come and see them, to bring the enthusiasm to the younger children and bring the memories back for the older generations," says Deborah Dougherty, event coordinator.
Over 28 awards were given out today and proceeds from the event will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes research fund and the Methodist Youth Home in Americus Georgia.
