Things got a little wild at Chehaw Park Thursday.
Despite some rain, Chehaw supporters enjoyed the 15th annual Walk on the wild side fundraiser. It included a silent and live auction, live music, and food from Outback Steakhouse.
It's also a way to let the community see Chehaw's growth.
"Events like these bring people out where they can see the growth and see the change and have a great time and help us grow more," Tom Seegmueller of Friends of Chehaw.
The proceeds will fund various Chehaw programs and an effort to bring 14 new flamingos to the wild animal park.
