Some exceptional people who are overcoming challenges were honored tonight in Albany. The Albany Advocacy Resource Center hosted its 33rd Annual banquet tonight

at the Hilton Garden Inn. ARC has served south Georgians with developmental and physical disabilities for nearly 50 years.

Some of those clients and people who support them earned awards tonight.

Sandra Edge, Deputy Director of ARC, says, "Everyone is a part of our community and we strongly believe that everyone has a gift to give to the community. That is what community is all about ."

State Labor Commissioner Mark Butler spoke at tonight's banquet.
