VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Valdosta - A Valdosta man is charged with killing his wife.

Thirty-six year old Wayne Luberda is charged with murdering Maria Rojas Luberda. 

Her body was found in the couple's mobile home on Wilkinson Avenue Wednesday night.

Investigators say it appears she was beaten to death and had been dead for several days when she was found.

By the time her body was found, her husband had been jailed on unrelated charges.

After they questioned him about his wife's death, he was charged with killing her.
