VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Creators of this year's haunted trail at a south Georgia theme park say it's the most frightening one yet.

You're in for a scare at Wild Adventures' Phobia: Legend of the Blackwater Swamp.

Legend has it that after a snake oil salesman came through the town of Hawkins Mills, he gave the folks there potion and it made them crazy.

A storm wiped out the town and all that was left was the Krupp family.

You'll see for yourself what happened after that.

"We have an actual cypress swamp out here which ending of itself at night, it's such a creepy place to be," said Mike Inks, the Phobia event manager."Other haunters are so jealous. It's a fantastic setting what've we've tried to do this year is to bring things to folks from way high up in the air and way out to the sides so you really have to keep your eyes open."

They added new technological elements to the trail.

You can experience phobia Friday and Saturday nights through the end of October. You can click here to find out more.
