A search is on for a man who ran away from drug agents in South Albany Wednesday morning.

The driver of this blue Cadillac jumped out and ran when drug agents pulled him over on Corn Avenue.

A passenger in the car, 29-year old Wahood Johnson, was caught.

Agents say he had 7 and a half ounces of marijuana in his pocket.

Drug Squad Commander Major Bill Berry said "Officers joined in the chase were able to catch the passenger. They recovered a little over 4 ounces of marijuana bagged up, that he tried to throw down. Throw away as he was running."

Johnson is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

The marijuana is valued at about two thousand dollars.

Drug agents confiscated the Cadillac, and are now trying to determine the owner, and find the driver who got away.
