Authorities confirm that the Albany Federal Employees Credit Union at 217 Johnson Road was robbed by a man about 9:30 this morning.
Albany Police describe the robber as a black man, between 5 foot 8 inches to 6 feet tall, with a medium build. He was wearing all black. A long sleeve black shirt, black pants, and a black ski mask covering his face. Police say he walked into the bank, showed the teller a handgun, and demanded money. The teller gave him money, and he left the bank quickly.
He may be driving a white to beige 1990's model car, with rounded front and rear ends. Police are asking if anyone saw this car or a suspicious person around the Credit Union recently, to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
