
It was a deciding game 3 that saw the Crisp County Lady Cougars take down number 1 seeded Worth County 3-2 in 8 innings at the Highland Complex on Friday. Worth County took the lead in the 1st inning when Hally Ellis delivered a double to the fence in left scoring Kimmy Lee.
In the 2nd, Crisp's Lauren Clements sent a laser to 2nd base scoring the runner on 3rd which tied the game at 1. The Lady Cougars got their game winning run in the 8th inning and hoisted the region 1-AAA trophy.
