If you want to vote in next month's municipal elections, you  should hurry up and make sure you're registered.

Friday night volunteers held a voter registration drive at River Road Church of Christ.

Roderick Jolivette organized it to reach out to potential young voters and make it convenient for people in his Ward 6 neighborhood to sign up to vote.

Jolivette says, "With the economic crises many people don't have the transportation to go to the electoral office, so what we are doing is having a drive in the community; the heart of the community and the heart of Ward 6."

Jolivette is currently studying political science at Albany State. Next Tuesday is the last you can register and be eligible to vote on November 8th.
