Two candidates running for city commission in Ward 6 talked to voters about their platforms and answered questions at the registration drive at the River Road Church of Christ.
Kowana McKinney and Victor Edwards are challenging incumbent Tommie Postell.
McKinney says, "I'm a community organizer but I want to take on more of a leadership role, so I hope that the community can see me as a leader in the community, and they come out and vote
Edwards says, "One thing want to bring back to the community is ownership, where we actually take ownership in the community. Where we actually improve on our small businesses."
McKinney is a former teacher and Edwards is a former Dougherty County Commissioner.
