Less than a week after hunters killed a state record bear in Clinch County, the record has been broken.
The 600-pound bear was killed Thursday at the Bear Branch Hunting Club near the Clinch/Ware County line, south of Argyle.
He becomes the largest so far.
Since last Thursday, four bears weighing more than 500 pounds each have been killed in Clinch County.
