Alltel customers had their chance to become a star today.
The store is shooting one minute videos of customers talking about their experience with Alltel.
The winner of the contest will appear in a national commercial with the Alltel spokesman Chad.
Alltel in Albany said about every other customer tried out for the commercial today.
One of the customers was surprised by the casting call, but was glad he tried out.
"Well, at first I kind of didn't want to do it because, you know, nobody wants to do things at first," said Alltel customer Ethan Horton. "Then, I kind of thought, why not be spontaneous and jump in? I have the time."
Tomorrow is the last day for the casting call. The winner will be determined next week.
