A Georgia Senator gets top honors from a national organization that monitors government waste.
Senator Saxby Chambliss was awarded the Taxpayer Hero award from the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste.
The organization gave Chambliss a 97-percent rating for his voting record for 2010.
It's given to members of Congress who demonstrate a commitment to increasing transparency, minimizing waste, permanently eliminating earmarks, and reducing the national debt.
