You can get a little motivation to exercise from breast cancer survivors.

There is a pink treadmill at PT Gym on Dawson Road. It's a limited edition model from Cybex to support Breast Cancer research.

During October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it will be used to build awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle while giving members a chance to break a sweat for a great cause.

"During the month of October, Cybex will donate a dime per mile to all the participating clubs with the pink treadmills," says PT Gym owner Perry Buchanan.

The machine logs every mile that exercisers run on it. The total will be tallied at the end of the month.
