Three charged with selling synthetic marijuana

Three people are charged with selling synthetic marijuana from convenience stores in Adel.

Investigators found 53 packets of k2 also known as spice at the Quik Mart on Hutchinson Avenue and the Neighborhood Mart on West fourth street.

56 year old Mrudula Patel and her husband Pravin Patel were arrested at the Neighborhood Mart.

Farooq Baig of Adel was also picked up from the Quik Mart.

They're all charged with distributing a controlled substance synthetic narcotic, purchase possession and having a controlled substance synthetic narcotic.

Baig is additionally charged with selling of a controlled substance and dangerous drugs.
