ALBANY (WALB) - The search continues for two suspects who shot a man this afternoon behind an east Albany Long John Silvers.
Giorgi Kartvilish, age 32, was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm.
Nearby Dougherty County Middle School was briefly put on lock down.
Detectives retrieved surveillance video of the suspects fleeing the scene in a black Chevy S-10 pickup.
That truck was found on Eugene Lane about an hour after the shooting.
Several officers were called to the scene along with K-9's which were brought in to search for the shooters.
APD describes suspect one as: A black male, dark complexion, wearing a white polo shirt, white polo hat.
Suspect Two: Has a medium complexion and low hair cut.
The suspects appear to be on foot, in the vicinity of East Broad Avenue and Clark Avenue.
