21-year-old Aubrey Daniel  from Albany is at home recovering from a stab wound. It happened late Tuesday night at the Nottingham North apartments.

He has been treated and released from Phoebe Putney Hospital. Daniel told police he was approached by a black man while in the parking lot of Nottingham North Apartments.

All of sudden the man pulls out a knife and stabs him in the neck. EMS were called and rushed him  to the emergency room.

At first 17-year-old Ricardo D. Canidate was just being questioned. But early Wednesday morning he was charged with Aggravated Assault and possession of knife during the commission of certain crimes.

Our cameras were rolling as Canidate was picked up by APD on Gail Avenue just before midnight. He could possibly have a first appearance before the judge Wednesday morning.

Daniel is said to be in fair condition as he tries to recover from this attack.
