VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Darton sophomore Shad Tuten shot a six-under 66 to win the Thomas Invitational at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta.
Tuten was -8 for the tournament and beat Connor O'Dell from Webber International by five strokes.
Tuten's 66 also helped Darton to finish third in the team tournament.
Darton finished seven shots behind winner USC-Beaufort.
After a disastrous 301 in Monday's first round, Darton came back with a 280 on Tuesday.
Joe Sakulpolphaisan and Neal Graham both shot 71 and Austin McNeal added a 72.
