Albany Municipal Court Judge Willie Weaver will have to undergo anger management as part of an agreement in his criminal case.

Weaver was arrested in May after his wife said he hit her with a beer bottle. She later recanted, but the aggravated assault and domestic violence charges against Weaver remained.

Under a pre-trial diversion agreement, if Weaver undergoes anger management and marital counseling, the charges against him will be dismissed.
