People gather to bring attention to one of many unsolved murders of women in Coffee County.

Dougherty County's Sheriff is inviting everyone to eat bar-b-que this Saturday, meet him and his Deputies, and help the community prevent crime.

Sheriff Kevin Sproul is hosting the Second Annual Building Unity in the Community Bar-b-que this Saturday at the 8th Avenue Ballpark.

The Sheriff's Office will cook free lunch, and they'll play games, but the main thing the Sheriff wants to do is build unity.

"I have some of the finest employees here in Albany working," said Sheriff Sproul. "And I'd like the citizens to come out and to meet us and let us meet them. Hear some issues and concerns they might have."

Other law enforcement agencies will also send representatives to the event. It will be from 11AM  to 2PM Saturday at the 8th Avenue ballpark.
