In front of a crowd of huge crowd of almost 37,000 at the Circle City Classic, the Albany State Rams beat up Kentucky State 57-31. ASU put on an offensive show in Lucas Oil Stadium, site of this year's Super Bowl. Albany State led 29-13 at halftime and almost doubled its scoring in the 2nd half. Stanley Jennings passed for 180 yards and 3 touchdowns, meanwhile on the ground Nathan Hoyte led the way rushing with 104 yards.
It wasn't all smiles for Albany State as the defense once again showed signs that it still needs to improve. Kentucky State racked up 424 yards to go along with its 31 points. The Rams improve to 3-1 on the season and will play at Lane College on October 8th.
