A 15-month-old boy died this afternoon after being taken to the hospital from an Albany Day Care Center.
The child went into cardiac arrest at Byne Daycare on Ledo Road. Investigators say the child was put down for a nap and when it was time to wake him up, he was unresponsive.
He was rushed by ambulance to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Coroner Emma Quimbley tells us she's picked up the child's medical records to investigate.
The Dougherty County Coroner and District Attorney's Child Death Investigation Team are looking into the death.
