A south Georgia Superior Court Judge will temporarily fill in on the Georgia Supreme Court after a Supreme Court Justice disqualified himself from a case.
Southern Circuit Chief Judge Harry Altman will replace Justice David Nahmias to hear the appeal in Grossi Consulting versus Sterling Currency Group.
The consulting firm is appealing a ruling in its dispute with a company that made millions trading Iraq currency.
Justice Nahmias removed himself because his wife is a partner for an Atlanta law firm representing one of the parties in the case.
