The Monroe Tornado football team has high expectations this year in region 1-AAA and part of the reason is because of senior Devine Noel. Noel is one the of the WALB Top Ten and is the Tornado's most versatile player having played wide receiver, quarterback, running back and even in defensive backfield. Noel has several schools interested in offering him a scholarship.
Clemson,Georgia Tech and Georgia Southern have all showed interest but Noel says with all this attention it's his mother that keeps him grounded.
Noel said "Just don't hang out with the wrong people. Keep your head up and keep your grades up. Keep a 3.5 or a little higher and keep on motivating me to stay in school."
Noel claims Clemson is currently his top choice of college schools.
