The Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner's arson division released a few more details on the fire apparently set to drive 41-year old Walter Bell out of his First Avenue home the night he was killed.
Investigators say an accelerant was used to douse the outside of the home. Firefighters contained the fire contained to one room.
The GBI isn't releasing information about what may have occurred between the fire and when neighbors heard shots three hours later.
Bell was found shot dead in the backyard.
Twenty-three year olds Christopher Buffin and Bryant Hughley, 29-year old Dominique Polite, and 30-year old Manchino Hudson remain in the Terrell County Jail charged with arson and murder.
