VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

An argument at a club turned into a brawl and shooting at a Valdosta public housing complex.

21-year old Ivory Foster was giving a friend a ride to the Hudson Dockett complex after leaving Club Legion on Lee Street.

He says a man he'd argued with there followed him, got out of a Chevy Impala and beat him with a handgun. When Foster fought back, another person got out of the impala and joined the fight. The man with the gun shot Foster in the shoulder.

"The victim said he was familiar with him he knew the person but he didn't know his name but he's seen him around before so they are someone local," said Valdosta Police Lt. Aaron Kirk. "The gunshot wound luckily just grazed his shoulder."

Foster also has a broken jaw. He's out of the hospital Friday.

He says the gunman is black, 5'9", and 280 pounds. The other suspect is black 6'2", and approximately 150 pounds. Call Valdosta Police if you know who they are.
