    A couple of South Georgia mayors attended a forum at the Albany Civil Rights Institute to enlighten the public on how city governments run, Thursday.

People in the small Irwin County community of Wray continue fighting to save their post office from closure.

Next month, a postal review officer from Atlanta will travel to Wray to talk with them.

Alice Ryle will address the process of closing the Wray post office and discuss with the community  why it's targeted for closure.

The community wide meeting  is Saturday October 22, 2011 at 2:00pm at the New Hope Baptist Church social hall. 

 Postal Service H.R. 2309 passed out of the House sub-committee yesterday.
