Rams look to preview defense

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany State Rams ready to move on after last week's tough loss to Valdosta State.

Head coach Mike White and the Rams realize their goals for this season are still very much within reach.

One of the big goals of course for Albany State is to defend their SIAC championship.

The road to that goal starts Saturday night with the conference opener at Miles College.

The Bears are 1-2 and coming off a close loss at West Georgia.

Head coach Mike White is not happy his team's pass defense is at the bottom of the SIAC after three games.

It is one of several areas the Rams need to improve and the coach says the good news is his young team is working hard every day in practice to do just that.

Head coach Mike White said. "The biggest thing for us is we have to start improving on the things we don't do well. Pass defense, taking care of the football and trying to finish in the fourth quarter are the little things that are going to make the difference in the game Saturday."

Game time is 7:00 p.m. Saturday in Fairfield, Alabama.
