ATHENS, GA (WALB) - After a nice relaxing win over Coastal Carolina, the Georgia Bulldogs are preparing return to SEC play for a tough stretch of games.
The Bulldogs are on the road for the first time this season when they play at Ole Miss.
It is the first of five straight SEC games for Georgia.
Four of which will be played away from Sanford Stadium.
It is also a pivotal game for both teams.
Georgia lost their SEC opener to South Carolina two weeks ago and Ole Miss was hammered at Vanderbilt.
The Bulldogs are expecting to face a very motivated Ole Miss team this weekend.
Tight end Aron White said. "Both teams are 1-2 and kind of falling short of expectations. We definitely want to bounce back strong. One of these teams is going to be back at 500 after this weekend. It is important that be us for everything we want to do."
Head coach Mark Richt said "I'm sure they are hungry for a victory and we are too. When it comes to SEC play, we lost our last game too. We are hungry for a victory also."
Georgia announcing safety Jakar Hamilton has left the team.
Hamilton was injured in preseason and is expected to transfer.
Georgia and Ole Miss will kick off at 12:20 p.m. Saturday and the game will be aired on the SEC Network and WALB-NBC.
