Two students were struck by a Lincoln Continental driven by 26-year-old Amy Carol Gordon of Arabi just before 7:00 Tuesday morning as they walked along Highway 257 in rural Dooly County.
17-year-old Devonte Hamilton was taken to Crisp Regional Hospital with what a state trooper described as "non-lethal injuries to his lower extremities."
The 12-year-old girl who was with him suffered only minor injuries.
The Cordele Post of the Georgia State Patrol in investigating the incident.
