The Anchor Group, made up of concerned citizens of Randolph County, is sponsoring a public meeting Saturday in Cuthbert.
In a telephone interview with WALB Friday, group member Elijah Hodge called the meeting a 'tax rally' in which they will discuss the huge tax bill the county owes the federal government.
Hodge also said that the community needs to 'get rid of the commissioners who caused this problem. We are petitioning to recall Evan Simmons, Jimmy Brantley, Steven Jackson, and Eugene Palmer.'
The rally takes place from 1:00PM until 4:00PM at Iris Garden, on Highway 82 West, near the railroad track in Cuthbert.
