20 Ben Hill County Middle School students were arrested Thursday after a food fight.

Now, some parents are a little upset about how the situation was handled.

Ben Hill County Middle School Principal Patti Barwick says the food fight started around 8:30, before school started.

That's when the food fight broke out with more than 300 students in the cafeteria.

20 students were arrested and later released in their parents.

Principal Barwick says proper protocol was taken.

The Students are faced with disciplinary action from the school and the juvenile court.

They are being charged with disruption of a public school and disorderly conduct.
