
ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany High didn't have to worry about having enough gas in the 4th quarter playing on a short week.
Indians score three first quarter touchdowns and roll over Randolph-Clay 41-0 Thursday at Hugh Mills Stadium.
Quentin Sapp scored three touchdowns for the Indians who are 3-1.
Sapp's seven-yard run late in the 2nd quarter gave the Indians a 27-0 halftime lead.
After stopping the Red Devils on a fake punt at the R-C seven-yard line, Sapp scored on the next play to make it 34-0.
Indians will open region play next Thursday at home against Fitzgerald.
Randolph-Clay is 2-1.
In other scores, Americus-Sumter wins at Houston County 20-15.
Panthers are 2-2 and both wins have come on the road.
In Class A, Terrell County losing 20-14 at Columbus.
