Looking for a lucky place to buy a lottery ticket? Maybe you should try an east Albany store with a history of selling big winning tickets.

Someone recently bought a scratch-off ticket worth 400-thousand dollars at the Spee-Go on Johnson Road. A few years ago, a lottery player won a million dollars at the store.

In the nine years that Danny Patel has owned the store, he says they've sold an unusually high number of winners, and that record attracts a lot of lottery players.

John Richardson, a clerk at the Spee-Go Store said, "we have people coming from across town who comes over here. They come from everywhere. They come from Camilla, Dawson."

Owner Danny Patel says the best part about selling winning tickets is the thank you's that he and his employees get from the people who come in to claim their prizes. He hasn't sold any big winners in the lotto drawings yet, but he hopes that will change soon.
