Wednesday night, Darcie Riggle from Jacksonville, Florida pulled into the Quick Change on Highway 84 in Homerville, and waved down police.
She told them she felt like she was going to pass out, and she said officers may want to go to her house in Jacksonville, Florida, because she thought she shot and killed her husband.
Homerville Police Chief Mark Register says his officer was in the process of pulling her over when she stopped her car and approached the officer.
A man's body was found shot to death in Jacksonville, and detectives from Florida went to Homerville to interview Riggle.
Jacksonville authorities are taking her to Florida, and left the Clinch County jail with her about 1:00PM. They are charging her with the murder of her husband.
