Albany Police responded to a silent alarm at Peter's Performance located on 408 sands drive.
The alarm is hooked up to the Air conditioning unit which alerted police. Thieves were unable to get away with the unit.
And once APD arrived on scene, they say one man ran and jumped the fence into sand dunes.
Thieves did thousands of dollars in damage to the AC unit. This is the second time someone has tried to steal an Air Conditioning unit from Peter's Performance.
