THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - You can help save a life as you honor 9/11 victims.

The Southeastern Community Blood Center is hosting a 10th anniversary blood drive this Sunday as a way to honor those who were lost and those who put their lives on the line to save others. "At our blood center 10 years ago we had an outpouring of people coming to want to donate blood. So we just want to keep people in the giving spirit," said Community Relations Rep. Claire Bowen.

The Southeastern Community Blood Centers in Thomasville and Douglas will be open Sunday from noon to five.

Every donor will receive a commemorative "Remember 9/11" T-shirt.
