LEESBURG, GA (WALB) -  Lee County softball team may have struggled with a tough non-region schedule but it had the Lady Trojans ready for their first region game.

Lee County beats Thomas County Central 5-1 for their first region win.

Paiton Cromer drove in two runs with a two-out single in the bottom of the 6th for Lee County.

Erin Calloway goes the distance for the win.

Lee County is 9-10 overall and on the road Tuesday against Bainbridge.
