At approximately, 10:24 a.m. Thursday morning, Albany Police Department Uniform Bureau Officers were dispatched to 430 West Tift Avenue in reference to a deceased person.

An initial investigation did reveal the identity of the individual as Sharon Dawn Haim, age 43.

On September 5, 2011, her husband filed a police report stating that she had been missing since September 4, 2011.

At this time, fowl play is not suspected and her cause of death is unknown.

Haim's body is scheduled to be sent to the Crime Lab.
