An Albany Housing Authority plan to revitalize a central Albany neighborhood gets a stamp of approval from city leaders.  Commissioners approved a resolution of support for the plan to transform McIntosh Homes into a thriving mixed income community called "The Oaks at North Intown".

Albany's Chief Municipal Court Judge remains on indefinite leave, but the city will no longer pay him for that time off.

June third, the city commission granted Judge Willie Weaver a 90-day paid leave of absence while he deals with a criminal case against him.

That 90 days expired September first.

Tuesday, Commissioners voted not to take any further action right now.

That means Weaver is still on leave, but the city is no longer paying him.

Weaver was charged with aggravated assault in May after his wife told police he hit her in the face with a beer bottle.

Vester Weaver later recanted her story.
