ALBANY, GA (WALB) - We caught with up one Albany man who was preparing in advance for our next big storm.

Steve Johnson was cutting down limbs and over hang in his yard on Gleneagles drive.

He says it's important to go ahead and trim the major limbs that need to be cut so they don't fall onto his home or car.

"One tree may fall because it's over weighted with water or overgrowth," said Steve Johnson. "These have pecans. You can sacrifice a few pecans to keep some limbs from damaging your home."
