Albany native and former Monroe wide receiver Ricardo Lockette suffered a minor set back to start of his NFL career after being cut by the Seattle Seahawks this weekend but there's still room for hope. Lockette was cut and then resigned to the Seahawks practice squad.
He did see action on the field this preseason and recorded 1 catch for 16 yards in Seattle's first game against the Chargers. Practice squad players cannot be play in regular season games unless activated into the 53-man roster.
