Many students start off the school year with inadequate supplies and administrators in Tift county are determined to do something about it.

The United Way of South Central Georgia and Tift County School systems are teaming up to Stuff the Bus. The plan is to stuff a school bus with supplies, such as backpacks and loads of other necessities, for a successful school year.

Michael Norman of the Tift County School System says, "We will help stuff this bus full of school supplies to help children in need that cant afford school supplies, as well as homeless families."

These supplies will go into the county wide school supply cabinet to be distributed out on a as needed basis.
