Agents say that police responded to the apartment because of a burglar alarm. Officers found the back door broken open and went inside. That's where they detected a strong odor of marijuana, and saw pot in plain view.More >>
Goodwill has a new donation center in Albany.
The new center is next to Home Run Foods on Dawson Road, that is across from Target.
The new drop off site has an easy drive-up donation service and Goodwill donation attendants to help make donating, quick and easy.
"When a donor pulls up in her vehicle, we can go right out, accept their donation, give them a donation card, thank them, and again without our donors, we can't fulfill our mission, so our goal is to make the donation process as easy as possible," says Jerry Payne, District Manager.
Through the sale of gently used donations, Goodwill provides free workforce development, job placement, and financial services.
