From the Sheriff's Office-
The Dougherty County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who purchased a Boston butt Friday as a fundraiser to not eat the meat.
Some of the meat was bad, and the Sheriff has asked that anyone who has already picked up a Boston butt to take it to the Sheriff's Office on Pine Avenue Tuesday for a refund.
Those who have not yet picked up their Boston butt can take their ticket to the Sheriff's Office Tuesday for a refund.
The Sheriff offers his apology for any inconvenience this may cause and wants to thank all those who helped support the Sheriff's Office in this fundraising event.
Anyone having questions can call the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office at 229-431-3259.
