ALBANY (WALB) - Some Influential women were honored Tuesday night for their dedication and involvement in the lives of young ladies.
Girls Incorporated honored the "Committee of 100" at Albany Tech.
The women serve as role models and represent the organization which serves 1800 girls in Dougherty and Terrell counties.
The event showcased the achievements of the girls who participate in Girls Inc's after school and summer programs.
"It's opportunity for women in our community who support our organization to actually get some time with the girls to actually where their investment is going. And it's opportunity for our girls to be exposed to the countless number of women in our community who are supporting them," said executive director LaKisha Bryant.
