A south Georgia dog with an expensive appetite is getting a lot of attention from national media.

We told you last week about Honey Bun, the mascot at John Ross Jewelers  who swallowed two one carat diamonds after pulling them off a desk.

Monday we saw Honey Bun's x-rays. While carbon doesn't show up on an x-ray  you can clearly see a gold earring back and two small blank spots the vet believes are the diamonds.

We told you that Honey Bun "returned" all the items the next day. Since then  store owner Chuck Roberts has gotten a lot of calls from national media.

"People magazine did an interview and got pictures and The National Inquirer is going to be here this week. The National Jewelry Magazine and the rest of the people except for a few radio stations picked up what y'all had done at Channel 10,"  Roberts said.

Honey Bun's eating habits appeared on Good Morning America  World News Now  and the Early Today Show. Roberts also did a telephone interview with the BBC in London.

He says the fame hasn't gone to Honey Bun's head. He's still the same sweet dog  and no worse for the wear after swallowing those jewels.
