Pastor warns other churches: take precautions

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Several churches in Albany have seen their AC units swiped for copper.

The pastor of Walk by Faith Ministries on West Gordon avenue is warning other churches after both of his ac units were stripped of copper wire late Thursday night or early Friday morning.

They even stole an entire AC unit. He says it will cost him roughly $20,000 to replace them since they're industrial units.

"Go ahead and spend that extra money to protect your units because you never know when they're going to hit."

He will have service Sunday, and large fans will be going strong in the sanctuary.
