Albany Police Department host their first Car and Bike Show Saturday, at the US 19 Driveway on Williamsburg Road. There will be food and live music as some of Albany and surrounding areas' hottest rides are displayed.

Cars, bikes, and even Mopeds can be entered into the show by 4pm for a $20 registration fee.

The event is to promote partnership within the community and the police department.

Investigator Kowaski Barnes says, " Part of our mission statement is building a better quality life for community partnerships, so that's what we need to do, we need to get out in the community and form these partnerships."

The gates open at 2pm, with a $10 charge for ages 13 and up; all children are free.

Prizes and trophies will be given away for the top cars. All proceeds will go to APD community events.
